United Way of Hancock County has announced the hiring of Judy Pusateri as assistant resource development director.
Pusateri most recently served as development coordinator for Findlay Hope House for the Homeless. She was responsible for fundraising through re-engaging lapsed donors, engaging new donors and encouraging in-kind contributions. Prior to her work with Hope House, she worked in the financial banking industry as a mortgage loan officer for 15 years.
In her position with United Way of Hancock County she will work closely with the resource development director in planning, organizing and implementing successful financial resource activities related to annual fundraising, planned giving, sponsorships and securing in-kind support.
She is a member of Findlay Hancock County Community Foundation’s Handbags That Help and served as chair in 2009 and 2010. She is a past board member of Children’s Mentoring Connection and The Center for Safe and Healthy Children. She is currently an advisor for the Lakeland Leaders 4-H Club.
Pusateri has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business organizational management from Bluffton University. She also recently acquired a certificate in fundraising management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, offered through Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Pusateri and her husband Todd have three children: Brayden, Cole and Madilynn.
