As a partner agency, you join a network of dedicated nonprofit organizations working to address critical needs such as Championing Children's Issues, Fighting Hunger, Promoting Safety & Health, Supporting Safe Housing and Fostering Financial Stability. Together, we strive to create a safety net of comprehensive support that enables individuals and families to thrive.
Partner agencies apply for and receive funding generated through our Annual Campaign, which in 2023 raised $2 million for disbursement in 2024. Funding is recommended by a revolving group of trained community volunteers serving on Impact Teams. These volunteers review partner agencies' annual grant applications and make recommendations to our board of directors on which nonprofits to fund and at what level.
United Way partner agencies also have access to a range of support services aimed at enhancing your capacity to deliver impactful programs and services. We provide funding opportunities, technical assistance and networking platforms to foster collaboration and innovation. Additionally, you'll benefit from ongoing communication and collaboration with our team, ensuring alignment with our shared goals and objectives.
