United Way of Hancock County accepting applications for the Relief Fund from nonprofits 501(C) (3) providing services in Hancock County.
Individuals are not eligible to apply.
This funding is to support services and programs responding to emergent needs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This fund is focused on the following priorities.
o Food/meals for older adults and children
o Eviction prevention and homelessness prevention
o Flex funds (flexible dollars for nonprofits responding to client needs as associated with the COVID-19 pandemic such as transportation, child care, utilitie)
Applicants are eligible to apply for up to $15,000 for emergency service(s) aligned to the priorities listed in the first round of funding. Future rounds of funding may be available pending fund growth. Please see the Relief Fund RFA for more detailed information.
Please complete the application below by May 13, 2020. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions the week of May 19, 2020. Applicants awarded funding will be asked to report on services provided with these funds by January 30, 2021
