HANCOCK COUNTY, OH (May 16, 2022) - The Stamp Out Hunger food drive was held Saturday after a two year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The food drive held in the parking lot of Great Scot collects food for county organizations. Letter carriers and volunteers drove around Findlay to pick up food items left on porches that were then packed and sorted by over 20 volunteers throughout the day.
Once sorted, the food items are taken to the West Ohio Food Bank and packaged to be delivered within the Hancock County community.
The final total for this year's drive was 8,500 pounds. In 2019, the drive raised over 10,000 pounds of food.
